Kara's Medical Expenses

Kara's sweet twin boys were schedule to enter the world on Wednesday March 23. Kara's water broke early Tuesday morning. Kasen Paul & Holden Michael were born at 7:00am on Tuesday morning by cesarean. The boys were born with a healthy weight with no complications. Kara, however, had some complications. Kara was diagnosed with Pregnancy Induced Heart Failure, or Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. This condition is a form of heart failure that happens during pregnancy or after giving birth. This conditon caused her heart to become enlarged and also caused her body to retain its fluids. Kara was flown from Corbin to Lexington where she spent a week healing. A week after her twin boys were born, she finally got to be home with them. She is filled with joy, as I am for her. 

The expenses for being flown from one hospital to another and spending a week being treated and monitored are a stress that this new mother of twins doesn't have time or money for. We are hoping to raise what we can to go towards her medical expenses that are to come. Any amount helps! 

 If you know Kara, then you know she is a woman filled with joy and life to give and she cannot wait for her next chapter of life, raising her sweet sons! Kara would like to say thank you for your gift of relief by giving money for her and her sons medical expenses. It is something that no new mother could possibly have planned for but she is thrilled to be with Kasen and Holden.
