Funds for disabled children in Vietnam

In 2 days I will be traveling to Hanoi, Vietnam.
I am going there to work as a volunteer through an organization called IVHQ (International Volunteer Headquarters)

I will be placed in one of the three programs in Hanoi that work with children with mental disabilities. Most of the children suffer from Autism, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.

The centres in Hanoi are modest and the children can always do with more resources. I originally wanted to bring things to the centre from Toronto. But it has been suggested by IVHQ that it is best to bring funds to buy items for the centre once I am at my placement. This way I will know exactly what they specifically need. Also I will be putting money back into the local economy.

It is rare that you can give directly to those in need.
So I am hoping to raise $1500 before I leave to purchase items for the children
