Shot by a guy for running down the dirt road in front of his girlfriend's house , Professor the Italian Greyhound is in ICU with a broken leg , blood loss , extreme pain, and psychological trauma.
The bullet went through the right front leg and out the rear left leg.
The guy said he was aiming for his heart! The police say there is no recourse due to "Florida leash law" as he was running loose * They live in the country on a dirt road and they always run the property and perimeter,* until today, 2 weeks after the new neighbor moved in.
His mom Rhonda is a wonderful IG owner and breeder who has helped rescue for over 10 years.
She works hard at the VA in Ocala , she is a veteran and is in need for help to pay her heart dog's vet bills.
I am Rhonda's long time friend and I am running this campaign for her and The Professor , who is the backbone of their family and a wonderful loving dog who totally did NOT deserve this !
Pawleeze help if you can, this is critical !
She has no extra money , she lives day to day, and they need help ASAP!!!
