Amazing Student Athlete Needs YOUR Help!
My son is the most caring, appreciative, dedicated, and humble person I know. He is 15. He is an inspiration to many and a friend to all. He is a student ambasador who is often matched with kids having a hard time adjusting to, or just needing a friend to help them through the school day.
He volunteers and is also a hockey referee to earn money for the expensive performance sticks the sport demands. As you know, these are critical years in shaping the future direction and development of any young person. Hockey is a huge part of who he is!
With YOUR consideration, kindness and generosity, he will be afforded the opportunity to persue his dream and passion in life -- to play AAA hockey and potentially earn a college scholarship. He is on the right path. This past year he was recognized as on of the top 64 hockey players in his birth year for the state.
Why are we asking for your help? In recent years, we have been able to scrape by and cover ice fees, equipment, travel, tournaments, and coaching expenses.. Since moving to this area, it has been difficult to secure meaningful employment opportunties that will cover the fundamental cost for AAA hockey. (If this campaign fails, this amazing athlete and student regretably will not be able to afford to play and further his dream!)
The fees we are asking your help with begin on July 23, 2016 and continue through February of 2017. The money rasied will soley be used to cover his immediate hockey expenses for the 2016-17 hockey season.
With all of the pitfalls, negative influences and distrations the youth of today face, this is a meaningful, positive, impactful way to make a measureable difference in the life of a student athlete. It would absolutely break my heart if he were unable to play. We NEED YOU and your Friends to contribute! Every little bit helps!
Over the many years, we have stepped in and helped others bridge the financial gap athletics can create; we have donated equipment, boarding expenses, fees, airline miles, time and transportation.
I never thought I would need to reach out to the global community and ask for help in this or any other manner.
We realize your monies and resources are hard earned and you likely have wished for items that you have yet to satisfy for yourself. We ask that you consider helping a young man continue to live his dream in a healthy, honest, hard working manner.
