Hey everyone!
I’m starting this GoFundMe for my heart dog Angus. Anyone who meets Angus, falls in love with his spirit, personality, and his ability to make you smile. I just want him to be healthy, and happy.
Ever since he was a little pup, he’s had Valley Fever in his right knee. He’s been on medication for it, but it never went away. When he was around 5, he was running down the steps of my house and he stumbled and tore his CCL ligament in that same knee and ever since then, he’s limped off and on. Then, this last August we discovered a bone lesion on an X-ray, in that knee during a routine dental cleaning which made sense because he stopped using that leg completely a year prior.
The leg itself is causing him immense pain, and causing him to react to the other animals in the household and after a veterinary consult, we all agreed the leg has to go. The vet said it’s best to amputate his leg so he can live a pain free life and his quality of life can be improved.
I just want to help Angus live out the rest of his life comfortably and happy as possible and give him the same love he’s given me. ❤️
