As teachers in Chicago Public Schools, we look for ways to enrich our students' learning through rich, meaningful experiences both in school and on field trips. Our students have been busy learning about the Underground Railroad, slavery, and the Civil War. As a culminating event, we planned a trip to visit what we believe to be the best museum around: The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum.
