Travis and Lisa's Wedding

A year and a half ago, the adversary attacked me from every possible angle imaginable in attempts of preventing me from receiving a Word from the Lord through His anointed at a conference that would forever change my life. That Word confirmed my calling in the 5 fold ministry in addition to making known that God would be divinely placing a ministry partner within my life to be my wife. Several months ago at major Azusa Street revival in California that was prophesied over 100 years ago, I finally met the most precious beautiful woman of God I’ve ever known that the Lord was talking about. Needless to say, the Lord has made it clear beyond the shadow of a doubt through numerous signs and other divine revelations that this was indeed her and I’ve since then asked her to take my hand in marriage. Praise God she said yes!! ☺

Ultimately, the Lord has shown both her and I that He has divinely orchestrated our paths to be united for the purpose of advancing His Kingdom through ministry. Additionally, Jesus has shown us that He has joined us together to give our children something we lacked in our upbringing that the enemy stole that He is restoring to our children which is to have both a father and a mother under the same roof. Lisa and I mutually know through divine revelation that God has united us together to show the world that if they seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), wait upon the Lord to be still and know that He is God (Psalms 46:10); that regardless of where you are at, the poor decisions you have made in life, that He is able to make all things work together for the good for those that love God that are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). In honor of our Lord and under the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will be getting married on Sunday 8/28 for Romans 8:28 to emphasize that His word is absolute truth and does not return void. This marriage is to glorify King Jesus!

Prior to all this taking place however, we were both single parents raising our children alone taking on ministry, full time jobs, parenting, and anything else God led us to which can be challenging. God said in (Genesis 2:18) that it is not good that man should be alone and that He would make him a helper comparable to him. That helpmate within my life is none other than Lisa. I praise the Lord for her! That also being said, our income has been limited and we were not expecting to be getting married in this season but God said otherwise and we know God is our provider in the midst of things. Therefore, we have been led to initiate a fundraiser as weddings can get quite expensive very quickly. I myself know that the single most important thing that matters is the covenant we make before the Lord so its not if as we have any intentions of going overboard in any way with some huge extravagant type of wedding, however I feel that this wedding should glorify the King of all Kings by bringing Him the honor, glory and praise that He is worthy of as ambassadors for His Kingdom. Lastly, I feel that after all that this precious woman of God has been through and survived though, she deserves it all and I want her to be the happiest woman alive on our wedding day.

So to subsidize all the costs that go along with moving and having a wedding on our limited budget, we will be having a BBQ plate sale to raise funds. We have set a goal to sell 500 plates at $7 each that will take place here in San Antonio, Texas, on Sat July 30th that will be available for pickup between the hours of 10am to 4pm. We have also set a GOFUNDME account if you feel led by the Lord to contribute in any way financially. I have prepared a list of certain services that will be needed if you are able to assist in this matter as well.
