Una luz para José Miguel "Duque"

José Miguel tiene 28 años y vive en Venezuela.
Toda su vida ha sido un joven apasionado por el deporte, que disfruta de juegos de softball y futboll con sus amigos. Le gusta ir al gimnasio y mantenerse muy activo.
Desde hace aproximadamente 1 mes, comenzó a notar que en sus piernas, brazos y el resto de su cuerpo aparecían hematomas grandes sin ningún tipo de causa aparente. Además, dolores de cabeza muy fuertes que se prolongaban por días y que ningún tipo de anlagésico podía aliviar.
Con el paso de los días, perdió el apetito y sentía muchísima fatiga con tan sólo caminar distancias cortas.
Finalmente, se realizó 2 analíticas de sangre que arrojaban valores muy elevados de glóbulos blancos, lo que llevo al diagnóstico de Leucemia Linfocitica Aguda (LLA) Pro-B; un tipo de cancer en la sangre.
La vida de "Duque" como todos lo conocemos, cambia radicalmente. Los médicos hablan de un tiempo de tratamiento de al menos 2 años, basado en quimioterapia.
"Duque" comenzó su tratamiento el sábado 16 de Septiembre del 2017, con Fe y en manos de Dios, también con el apoyo incondicional de su familia y amigos.
En vista de la crisis económica que está afectando al país, requerimos toda la ayuda que nos puedan brindar a fin de cubrir los gastos médicos necesarios para su tratamiento (Quimioterapia).
Agradecemos cualquier ayuda que nos puedan brindar para que su vida vuelva a ser la misma de antes.

For about 1 month, he began to notice that in his legs, arms and the rest of his body appeared large bruises without any apparent cause. In addition, very strong headaches that lasted for days and that no type of analgesic could alleviate.
As the days went by, he lost his appetite and felt a lot of fatigue with just walking short distances.
Finally, 2 blood tests were performed that showed very high values of white blood cells, which led to the diagnosis of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) Pro-B; a type of cancer in the blood.
The life of "Duque" as we all know him, changes radically. Doctors talk about a treatment time of at least 2 years, based on chemotherapy.
"Duque" began his treatment on Saturday, September 16, 2017, with Faith and in the hands of God, also with the unconditional support of his family and friends.
In view of the economic crisis that is affecting the country (Venezuela), we require all the help that you can give us to cover the medical expenses necessary for his treatment.
We appreciate any help you can give us to make his life the same as before.
