COVID-Family, and medical expenses

Donation protected

On Friday, March 27th, the day before Georgia locked down due to COVID-19 my son Brandon was staying with me. I had him FaceTime his. Sothey FaceTimed around 10:30 pm and he told him he loved him and his dad said, "I love you buddy, I miss you and can't wait to see you." His dad passed away a few short hours after talking to him on march 28th. My son is only 12yrs old. That was the hardest day of my life and his as well.

Needless to say I became a single parent in a matter of a day. It’s been hard as it is because trying to care for myself financially. The reason is I am sick and now I have to try to support him and myself without any help and as a mother it crushes me to not be able to afford anything.

Anyway moving on: I am sick and I lost my disability insurance a few months after James passed away this was our only source of income. I officially lost my benifits in July 2020. Disability insurance is different then Social security disability. Disability insurance is what I paid into when I was able could work, but it's only for a short period that those funds last. I have always done whatever I needed to help my children besides Brandon I have two other children Kylee, and Kaden. My medical conditions keepa me from working or even just going out and playing ball with my son ..... We need help. Here is a little about me... My name is Heather Little or aka mom ❤️

Dr Abdulla, my cardiologist has been attempting to treat my postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome condition without success. He then referred me to another cardiologist Dr Sam Limay in hopes that he may be able to help me with my condition. However after seeing Dr Sam Limay he stated that my condition is continuing to worsen and that I am  going to need a wheelchair and that he can no longer treat me because I am on the max dose of beta blockers so I have been referred to Vanderbilt hospital in Tennessee in hopes they can help me. My condition continues get worse and my life and body continue to deteriorate. I have to get a reverse shoulder replacement as well, and I have now injured my right foot. I passed out while standing and that how I hurt myself. Unfortunately this is part of my condition. Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome... Otherwise known as pots... Basically what to define it simply is this... When I stand my heart rate goes to 165-208 or higher causing me to pass out. When it gets that high my heart doesn’t pump enough blood to my brain again causing me to pass out.. Or you can look at it this way I’m allergic to gravity.

With that said I have no way to pay medical bills except Brandon's because he's on  Medicaid or household bills even with James's social security survivor Benifits. We only receive 803.00 a month. We ask for your help. I am currently fighting to get my Social Security disability through the appeal process which takes time unfortunately. Any amount you can spare will go towards medical bills, household expenses, food and clothes for my son. I have created a GoFundMe page to help us. Our current monthly expenses not including medical bills is $1565.00. Our goal is to raise enough money to get us through December and hopefully I will have my disability and back pay by then. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I wish I could have said more but then I would have to write a book or two lol and thank you for your support
