An Eternal Love Story

Henry and Pauline Davis, our grandparents, are two souls intertwined as one as they laid the foundation for a strong family. Married for 55 years, their love and bond is compassionate and their faith inspiring. Now they face major illness. Together, they battle aggressive cancers.


In March 2016, Grandpa, an Army veteran, was diagnosed with stage 4 large B-cell type lymphoma. He just received his 4th chemo treatment and has 2 left. He hasn't been able to work this year due to illness, and will continue to be out of work. To care for him, Grandma had to stop working to be at his side.

In June 2016 Grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 Anaplastic Thyroid cancer, a rare cancer with very few treatment options and poor prognosis. She is only the 2nd person diagnosed with this type of cancer in this area. Only 1% of all thyroid cancer patients receive this diagnosis. She will not be able to return to work either. Ahead of her lies 30 radiation treatments

The family and friends of the family have been a great support during this time, but the expenses are increasing rapidly. Many doctors are involved, and scans, treatments, medications and travel, as well as everyday expenses that have to be met.

Anyone who knows Henry and Pauline Davis knows how inspiring the two are, how much they live and breathe the life of Jesus. They built their family upon the strongest foundation I've witnessed and these two would be the first; even in critical health to lend a hand or prayer.
