Save Son From Abusive Father

Hi, my name is Nina, I am a single mother of a wonderful 7 year old boy, his name is Colt.  A few months ago, I was forced to leave my life in Alaska for the safety of myself and my son. He was being kept from me by his father, an abusive man whom was only concerned with having Colt for financial benefits. Colt's father threatened my life on several occasions if I put him in a situation where he would have to pay child support. I left a great teaching job and left everything behind to remove myself and my son from an atmosphere where I feared for both of our lives. My son is thriving here in our new home where he is surrounded by his loving family that he was not allowed to meet or see before in his fathers control.  He is also excelling in his new school, he has lots of friends and is also in special education classes dealing with his speech communication problems that his father refused help with because his father did not want his son labeled as a "Special Ed kid".  Now, his father has hired a high priced lawyer who unjustly got a court order to have him returned to Alaska in a hearing that I was unable to obtain a lawyer for. I am desperate to get a lawyer who will help me to stop that from happening because when he is returned to his father, I fear that I may not be able to protect my son from an unsafe situation and environment to which he will surely be returned. As my battle must continue I pray that my son may find benefactors who will aide me in keeping him safe. Any help we can get would be immeasurable as it will save Colt from returning to a life that he fears returning to.
