Shay has been battling bone cancer for more than a year. She’s a fighter, but as you can imagine the side effects of treatment can be extremely difficult both physically and emotionally. Shay’s aunt and uncle (who she lives with) have been able to afford her a couple less expensive wigs and to be honest it isn’t lasting how a 16 year old girl would like it to. My daughter Kamren recently traveled to St. Jude with Shay while she underwent treatment. While there Shay visited with a girl who had a high quality wig and told Kamren how wonderful she thought it was. The wig is an all-natural human hair that costs between $1,800-$2,000. However, the look, feel and longevity is far better than what her family can afford.

Shay is preparing to attend high school prom soon and we would love to make her feel as beautiful as we think she is. We are just a community of friends who think Shay deserves everything and would love to get her one of these wigs.
