Hello beautiful people!
The Red Tent is a space for women, for nurturing, for coming together as a sisterhood, for learning about our cycles, for supporting each other through our rites of passage.
I am a priestess of the Women's Mysteries, a 3rd year apprentice with the School of Shamanic Womancraft and I work in my community by holding space for women's transformations. you can learn more about my work at my site Within Woman.
I have been holding Red Tent in the various communities I have lived in (Toowoomba, Newcastle and now Mullumbimby) for the last 5 years. I have seen so many women and girls come through the tent, sit in circle and find a space they can call home. It is magick to witness what happens in this space of holding and nurturing. Red Tent has always, and will always be run as a donation. No woman is ever turned away, and money collected has gone to cover tea, candles and craft activities we make in the tent. The marquee I currently use, all the fabric and furnishings has been paid for by myself and some beautiful souls donating cushions and things.
The time has come to have a bigger, weatherproof space for women to gather! I have the land to raise the roof for women and I need help to make it happen.
Lotus Belle tents are amazing versatile places and I have managed to snag a Red one. Now I just need to cover the costs of it and to get it here! All funds will be used to pay the bill of the tent and shipping and any excess money raised will go to purchasing cushions etc that may be needed.
I have dedicated my life to serving women and serving the Goddess however she calls me. Holding space through the Red Tent is one of the ways that I can live out this calling and I would be so grateful for your support to create a space that will hold the growing number of women coming to the tent and ensure that we have a cosy, weatherproof place to gather.
