Brian Shirley spent much of his life dedicated to helping others as a volunteer firefighter for 30 years, as well as being an intermediate EMT for over 30 years. He has been instrumental in helping multiple community organizations raise funds for their causes, as well as assisting with the MDA to raise money every year. He has organized benefits for fellow firefighters who were in need, without ever asking what was in it for himself. Today he is in need of a little help, fast moving infection has resulted in the need to remove part of his right leg, which is a devastating loss for him and his amazing family. He will be in need of some special medical equipment, house modifications, and some as-of-yet unknown things, as well as medical bills.
