International Service Project- Brazil

I am so excited and blessed to have been chosen to travel on an International Service Project this upcoming September. I will be traveling to Brazil for two weeks to provide health care and education to those in underrepresented rural communities. Many of the people I will be meeting have received little or no healthcare.

I am very humbled to be able to do what I love best- helping and giving to others. After all that is what I believe life is truly about. I know this will be a life-changing experience as this has always been one of my childhood dreams. I know I can not change the world....but what I do know is that I can do something.

On this trip I will be allowed to take a luggage full of donations for the communities I will be visiting. I would love to fill my luggage up and share so much of what we in the United States have. So please help me fill up my luggage:)

The money I am raising is to help with travel costs/vaccinations, medical supplies needed and for needed donations I will be bringing. I have made a wish list of some of the supplies that will be needed. If you are able to make a donation (whether monetary or actually purchasing the item) that would be greatly appreciated. Whatever you are able to give even if it is one box of crayons or $1 will go a long way.

If you choose to give monetary donations, they can be done 2 ways. One option being thru this link/website (Please note that there is a 5% fee deducted from any online donations), The 2nd option would be to donate offline. Offline cash/check donations can be given to me directly if you will be seeing me anytime from now until September or can be mailed to me as well. Please note that any amount (even $1) will make a difference.

Also, if any of you have any connections with hospitals, hotels, pharmacies or elsewhere that would be glad to donate any extra soap, bandaids/alcohol pads, clothes, ointments, antibiotics, mini hand sanitizers or anything on the wish list please let me know:) Any used summer/spring clothing would be greatly appreciated as many of those I will be caring for only have 1 or 2 items of clothing. Please send me a message and I would be more than happy to pick up these items/donations. I also want to share that the items do not have to be any brand name...generic is perfect and items can also be purchased at the dollar store.

Your kindess and generosity with your contributions will truly make a difference in someone's life. Even if you can only donate a few dollars...anything and everything will help. If you are unable to make donations of any kind then what I ask and need most are prayers. I ask for prayers for me and the team I will be traveling with so that we are safe and are able to touch as many lives as possible during the time we are there.

I know that this experience is something that will change my life and also the lives of those who are able to donate. Thank you so very much for your continued help, time and support. I am excited about this opportunity to serve the people of Brazil and for what God has in store. I thank you again for all your support and prayers on this Service Project. Upon my return, I will be more than happy to share with you all what was accomplished.
