Help Support Credo

Hello! We are Dana Treitler  and Suzane Pyburn, we are the owners of Happy Tails to You, a dog walking company that operates out of Long Beach, CA. We are also long time residents of Long Beach. This Go Fund Me page was created, because we are asking for your help in supporting the loss of a beloved member of our community.

On Tuesday, June 28th, 2016, the Long Beach Police Department lost one of its own officers, a K-9 unit named Credo. Officer Credo was killed in the line of duty during the apprehension of a suspect who was wanted for a violent crime. 

As a way to show our love and continued support of the Long Beach Police Department and its K9 division, we want to raise enough money so that Credo's sacrifice is never forgotten. All of the money raised through this Go Fund Me page will be used to purchase customized K-9 vests that will protect Long Beach's existing K-9 officers or to cover the cost of a new K-9 officer who would be donated to work directly in the Long Beach K-9 division. We want to donate these gifts to the department in memory of Credo, and so that our surviving K-9 officers can be kept safe as they put their lives on the line every day. All of the money raised will be used solely for the purpose of purchasing new vests or a new K-9 officer.

K-9 Officers are invaluable part of the city of Long Beach. Dana has worked with K-9's in the past and can attest to the amazing work that these animals do every day. 100% of your donation will be used to directly help our K-9 officers. We will not be keeping any portion of the money raised and as soon as this Campaign is complete, we will purchase the gifts and give them to the K-9 Division. Your donation will help us never forget the sacrifice that Credo made for our community.
