Help My Friend Beat Cancer!

Hello everyone. This is the first time in my life that I have decided to make a bold move and make a difference so my childhood best friend survives...

I have lost a couple girlfriends in the past few years and they each took a piece of my heart with them but I never had a chance to help them while they were still with us. I have that chance now and I will make sure to make a difference before it's too late.

My friend of over 35 years lives in Iran and is married with 3 young children. When I called to wish her Happy New Year for our Norouz celebration, her husband broke down crying on the phone with devastating news of her being in a critical stage of breast cancer and in need of a lot of medical treatments. Since her husband has lost his job last year, he is having a very difficult time paying for the medical expenses and taking care of the kids.

As they are very private, respected, and a proud family, and would never ask for donations based on their culture and mentality, I took it on myself to organize this donation for them. Let's open our hearts while we are celebrating and enjoying the festivities on these nights of our Persian New Year to make a difference for one Iranian family. Let's bring some rays of hope to these kids who are about to lose their mother.

It's easy to say "I love you" but it's the action that counts and I want to act before it's too late. Based on my several conversations with the rest of her family and calculations, my estimated donation amount will help with the surgery and medical treatments. Anything above that will be a great help to the family and a huge comfort to the children in this difficult time. I know some of my friends donate large amounts to multiple organizations that they have no idea where all the money goes?
