Up Shit Creek

Paddler's Pub needs a sewer line to stay open. It has been an ongoing fight with the county and the ultimatum has been thrown. We either put in a sewer or close down Paddler's Pub. That's going to cost at least $500,000. Raising $100,000 from patrons and selling a two acre chunk of land to a restaurateur would be enough to get us out of shit creek. That's just to get the sewer here. There will be another million in improvements that a bank would be happy to finance if we show them how much the public wants this pub to stay open. The Paddler's Pub feel would remain in a wildly beautiful setting, a cool restaurant would be nearby and the port o potties would be gone. The public has begged us to stay open, even though legal, design and county fees have taken most of the profits in our 8 year tenure here. The stress has been unpleasant, but we really do like the feel of Paddler's Pub that we created. If we can raise the money, great, if not let's go rafting next year. We are really good at that. We love the support the community has given us so far...Thank you for all of it!  Family fun shows all weekend long.
