YOU can help Julie with medical expenses
Hello, I'm writing this for by brother's wife, Julie
Spencer. Julie and I share many things
in common. We both have been named Julie
Ann/Julianne Spencer at some point in our lives: we both have lived with
Michael, me as a sister, Julie as a wife; we both have 4 kids, our kids are all
about the same age, and we go on vacation every summer together.
In September, Julie was diagnosed with inflammatory breast
cancer. It is a very aggressive cancer and the prognosis was very scary as we
found out all of the details. However, as the doctors continued their tests,
we were encouraged with many specific answers to prayer in regards to her treatment
plan. Julie is going through a very intense treatment program of chemotherapy,
mastectomy surgery and radiation. We are
praying that the treatment will eradicate the cancer and that she will remain
cancer free.
Within a week of diagnosis, Julie started treatments and could
not work. Even though she had contributed to a disability program for 20 years
through the teachers union in Ohio, she was denied benefits. As a result, Michael
and Julie lost her teaching salary, they have no disability income and then
they also have to pay the monthly premium of $2000 each month. These are the
same medical benefits that pay for all the treatments to save her life.
Julie and Michael have enough to worry about in fighting this
terrible cancer, but now the financial burden is also hanging over their heads.
Please consider donating to a fund to help alleviate the
financial burden of having a reduced income and the need to pay full medical
premiums each month for Michael and Julie.
I worked with a banker, president of my company and an expert in
fundraising in Ohio to make sure this would be secure, safe way to help them
and not cause any further financial issues for Michael and Julie (taxes).
I think I speak for the entire Camboni and Spencer families in
thanking all of you for all of your prayers, support, meals, rides, and so many
other helpful tasks during these last few months.
Philippians 4:6 "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about
everything. Tell God what you need, and
thank him for all he has done. Then you
will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as
you live in Christ Jesus"
