Fund Jada's Fight

Donation protected
Osteosarcoma is a cancer that usually occurs between bones and is often found around the knee. It is usually diagnosed in people under the age of twenty-five. Our Jada was diagnosed at just 13 years old.

Jada is an integral piece of our family puzzle. Our family would no longer be complete without her.

At 13, Jada is still trying to figure out who she is as a person. That’s hard for anyone, but got harder for her when she was told that she could lose her leg and maybe even her life.

This hasn’t just been hard on her, but also on the people who love her. Her mother Jen has been doing the best she can for her four kids, trying to make sure Jada has as many happy days as she can. She is Jada’s number one supporter and truly a super mom.

So how do I, her fifteen-year-old cousin help? I spent time by Jada’s side racking my brain to try and figure out how to make the pain stop; how to make it better. But the truth is I can’t. No one truly can.

But I know that if Jada’s going to win this, then she needs to be comfortable and supported in more ways than one…and I’m asking you to help us.

HELP us fund Jada’s fight against Osteosarcoma.

HELP us fund her medication, her transportation to and from the hospital, her wheelchair and maybe even a little bit so she can have some fun. She shouldn’t have to put her life on hold because cancer says so.

HELP her enjoy her days even when they are unbearable.

HELP her continue to grow.

Cancer is a battle not easily won, but if we can help Jada fight it, maybe she can win the war.

What is osteosarcoma?

*Osteosarcoma is a cancer of the bones, often affecting the knee.

*It is usually diagnosed in patients under 25 years old.

*Canadian Terry Fox was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at 18. Although forced to have his right leg amputated above the knee, he was determined to raise money for cancer research and established the Marathon of Hope. He hiked 5,373 kilometres across Canada before his death in 1981.

If you are not able to donate money, we appreciate your moral support.

Please show Jada you care by leaving messages here, by writing letters, sharing your experiences and showing her that we stand with her.

We would also be grateful for your time.

For example, if you can help  with transportation, childcare support for Jada’s mom or snacks or dinners on busy treatment days, that would mean so much.

Thank you for your support,
