Robert's Final Expenses

Donation protected
Brain cancer.  My husbanr of 28 years passed away on Thursday June 30th. Robert's tumor was just discovered on April 17th of this year. Pretty aggressive cancer, it was like a spider web branching out over his brain. Inoperable.  We were two days at the Treklanta Star Trek convention,  but on the third day, he mentioned to a friend that he was unable to type using his left hand. Also he reported that he had been falling down a lot. His friend said that it sounded like he had a stroke. We went to the St. Joseph's Hospital ER but they did not accept Kaiser Insurance. They suggested that we go across the street to Northside Hospital, who DID accept Kaiser Insurance. .
They performed a CT scan and MRI. They admitted him to the hospital. They said they discovered a tumor on his brain, at the base of his skull.
The following day he had a mild heart attack. But luckily he was suppounded by doctors and nurses and technicians. A bit of nitroglyerine did the trick.
Northside performed more tests and more scans. They said he needed to get a biopsy but Northside did not perform such surgery. He was transferred to the Emory University Hospital. After a week there, he was transferred to a Sub acute rehab facility.

Having a diagnosis that your loved one has less than three months to live was received twice. First my son Chris died last year.  He was just 41 years old. And then Robert, who was just 61.  Both were given less than six months to live but both were gone sooner. Both Robert and Chris died in their sleep. Both were in hospice care, via Visiting Nurses, except Robert was at home in Home Hospice. I had to take an unpaid leaver of absence from my new job to stay at home with Robert.

I need to pay for his funeral expenses.  Also medical bills that are coming in quickly.   Robert had no life insurance. His health onsurance has paid its share but that leaves me to cover so much more. I need to work again and hopefully can keep up with the home expenses.  The air conditioning just stopped working right at the beginning of summer.  If you are reading this and if you are able to help, any amount would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you!
