TCT Bench and Terry Fox Fundraiser

The Caledon Ladies Hiking and Meet Up Group members will be hiking the Caledon part of the Trans Canada Trail "The Great Trail" from Inglewood to Palgrave to raise money to purchase another stone bench and raise funds to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation.
We are also excited to announce that Valerie Pringle, past host of CTV's Canada AM, journalist and now the Director of the Ontario part of the Trans Canada Trail and Jessica Mega the Director of External Relations for the Trans Canada Trail will be joining us for part of the Trans Canada Trail stone bench and tree planting hike fundraiser.
Just as the ladies of the Caledon Ladies Hiking and Meet Up Group, Valerie and Jessica love the outdoors and are very passionate about the Trans Canada Trail and all it has to offer.
They are always excited about helping out to fundraise and spread the word about the TCT "The Great Trail" and the benefits the outdoors offer in keeping people active, healthy and fit.
We are thankful to have their support and having them be part of our fundraiser hike to raise funds to place another stone bench on the trail, plant some trees that everyone can enjoy and help out our community when possible.
UPDATE: We are happy to say that we have already raised the funds $1700.00 and the stone bench has been ordered. We also have $70 to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation. Further Funds Raised until the day of the hike will be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation!!!
As we have been lucky to have amazing trails to use we wanted to give back by doing this fundraiser.
About the Group: The Caledon Ladies Hiking and Meet Up Group was created in April 2015 to get ladies together for hiking, fitness, wellness and to get to know others in the community. All of the events created for the group are free thanks to businesses and people involved in helping us along the way.
