Andrew "Doc" Hansen Bernie Delegate

Hey everybody!!

My name is Andrew Hansen, and I am going to the Democratic National Convention as a Bernie Sanders delegate!!!

I started this journy last November when I attended my first Bernie event which was collecting signatures to get Bernie on the ballot in Texas without paying the filing fee. Since then, I've made thousands of phone calls, knocked on hundreds of doors, and drove 9 hours to hold a barnstorming all the way out in Alpine, TX (we ended up winning that county in the primary!!).

Today, I have the honor to serve the people of Austin as a Bernie delegate to the Democratic National Convention, which is July 24th-29th.

However, like everything else in politics, this will be expensive. I am asking for you to kindly donate to this campaign so that I can represent you folks in Philly.

I will use this money to pay for the $780 hotel cost  (I'll be staying with 3 other people to save money), transportation cost, and a few dollars for nessassary odds-and-ends  while I am there.

Any left over funds will be donated to Ride2Recovery, a charity that provides bicycles to wounded veterans to promote a healthier lifestyle. Ride2Recovery has been great to me and many other veterans, and I would like to give back too!
