Hi, my name is Nathanial Varda, I am a Boy Scout from Troop 135 in Brookfield, CT and I am raising funds to support my Eagle Scout Project.
My project supports the work of the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Newtown, CT. I will be organizing volunteers to build and install 8 Eastern Bluebird houses, as well as hand seed about 2 1/2 acres of land with buckwheat, rye and meadow seeds as part of the meadow restoration project. As someone who attended school in Newtown, was in lockdown during the Sandy Hook shooting, and is friends with the Hubbard family, the Sanctuary and its mission is very important to me.
The ultimate goal here is to raise $2800 to fully fund the project to completion. Donations of any size would be greatly appreciated and if you would like to volunteer please contact me.
