My name is Jonathan Rojas and I am a 10 year old 5th grader who loves to play soccer! I play for FC Sportika in New Jersey on the 2006 academy team.
In addition to training with my club team, I do extra training with a program called NextGen USA. I have been a part of NextGen for about 2 years. Last year, I was invited to be a part of their SRP (School Release Program). With the permission of my parents, principal and teachers, I am released 30 minutes early from school to attend a study hall before training with other promising players from my region.
I am excited to say that I have been selected to participate in a NextGen USA Select Squad trip to England in April of 2017! The money from my gofundme campaign will be used to help pay for my trip.
I have been working so hard to get this far in soccer. I am very proud of myself for becoming a better player and would love to gain the experience of playing and training with other talented players in England. Thanks to my family for all of their support and thank you for your help!
