Help the Kids of Fallen US Military

Medix Orange County is locking arms in order to raise money for an organization making a difference in the lives of US Military children – Camp Hometown Heroes.
Camp Hometown Heroes was created to provide children of fallen U.S. Military Heroes the chance to experience friendship, healing and growth. By bringing together children who can understand and support each other, it’s a week where these kids can just be kids!
This week-long overnight summer camp provides a safe and fun environment for the children of fallen U.S. service members who died in any manner. During their visit to camp, perhaps for the first time in their young lives, the children have the opportunity to openly discuss their feelings and experiences. Through the support of pediatric grief specialists, the children partake in art and music therapy programs, as well optional discussion groups.
As an organization dedicated to positively impacting lives, Medix would love to be able to support this cause and raise money to send as many children as possible to camp. It costs $1,500 per traveling camper to attend.
