Thank you so much, each of you, for your thoughtfulness and support; there are no words for the heartfelt appreciation we have for the overwhelming care you have shown our family.
We are amazed by the goodness all around us. We have learned that through the hardships of devastation comes the exuberance of camaraderie.
As our new home rises, your generous spirit will be a part of it.
We hope to have the opportunity to thank each of you in person in the days ahead.
Our property will be leveled this Thursday, we will rebuild one day at a time - looking forward to possibilities and not back to what was lost - if we stay on pace, we should be back on Shady Creek Drive just before Christmas.
Until then, we are leasing a little 'cottage' on White Rock Lake, drop around any time - the door will be open...

And, to you Susan, thank you especially for the envelope that was sitting on the fireplace when we arrived on move in day. I saw it there, and left it for a quieter moment; opening it on Sunday morning with my coffee and the picture window that overlooks the park. Your thoughtfulness touched my heart "“ the photos that you sent are the first that I have; I love you for thinking of me this way.
And, Owen, the train set: oh, the train set!
