FAMILY OF 7 LOST EVERYTHING IN HOUSE FIRE!
Amber, Nick, and their five young children lost everything they had in a house fire Saturday night. Tragically, they also lost their mother dog and two one-week-old puppies.
The heroes from the Tama and Toledo Fire Departments managed to rescue five other puppies, two adult dogs, and the family’s pet rabbits at their own risk! THANK YOU, Firefighters, and thank you to Town and Country Veterinary Clinic for helping the injured animals as well as Tama County Humane Society for placing the surviving pups with a foster mama.
Amber and Nick had no insurance, and now their family, including their young sons, a 6-year-old, two 7-year-olds, a nine-year-old, and a 9-month-old infant, is left with only the clothes on their backs and what they had with them when they left the house before the fire started.
Thank God they were not home and injured the night of the fire! But they are in desperate need of help from our community. Please donate!
