Todd's Fight with Testicular Cancer

Hi my name is Lori and my 23 year old son, Todd Johnston (TJ) was just diagnosed (May 25, 2016) with Testicular Cancer. We were so devastated. Within 3 days of diagnosis he had surgery to remove the cancerous growth. With hope and prayers we awaited for the pathology. Devastating news came; his cancer had spread to his lymph nodes in his abdomen and to his lungs, his testicular cancer was Stage 3a. Because my son has a work ethic beyond reproach, he went back to work shortly after his initial surgery. Unfortunately, an infection occurred at his surgery site and sadly, with great reluctance, he had to give notice to his employer that he would not be able to continue working until his treatment was completed. It was at that time, his s/dad and I felt it was best that my son and his fiancé move in with us, so we may be able to help the best we can.

Last week, Todd had his second surgery to implant a port in his chest, which will be used for him to receive his life saving chemotherapy.  Testicular Cancer can be very aggressive, which requires very aggressive treatment. Today, he had his first round of chemotherapy. He will continue with this treatment 5 days a week, 4 hours a day, every two weeks. During this time, Todd’s amazing attitude and faith has inspired everyone around him. He is absolutely the most loving, giving, kind, and amazing person, you could ever meet and I am blessed to call him my son.

I am asking you; please help him while he goes through this arduous journey so he may be able to pay his already staggering medical costs and expenses.  No donation is too small.
