Help save 1 year old Domino from fatal FIP virus
Donation protected
In April of 2020 I was fortunate enough to adopt my best friend, Domino May. I decided to foster kittens to help with the anxiety & depression quarantine was causing me & I never would’ve imagined that I could fall so deeply in love with being a cat mom. Domino has been my healer and partner in life for almost a year now & he loves me & his brother Spooky dearly. I wouldn’t have made it through 2020 without him and I owe him the greatest debt of gratitude for saving my life.
Today Domino was taken to the vet for blood work and his diagnoses is FIP ( feline infectious peritonitis ), a fatal virus that kills majority of cats who have it. He hasn’t been eating or drinking and is losing weight rapidly. His skin is jaundiced & he is very fatigued. If he is going to make it treatment needs to happen as soon as possible.
There is a treatment available that has an 80%+ rate of curing the affected cat. It involves administering 1 shot per day for 80 days or so, in order to help the cat fight the virus. The shots break down to be about $27 a day.
Due to covid and being unemployed I am struggling financially and really need all the help I can get. Domino saved my life and I will do anything it take to save his.
His brother Spooky is also a possible risk for this virus, and we need to keep him in our prayers as well. I appreciate anything any of you can do financially to help, & prayers are also greatly appreciated.
His 1st birthday is on Friday February 26th and I am hoping that he can live to see many more birthdays to come.
Thank you all so much.
