Rosario's Medical Fund Donation

In October of 2015 we received news nobody wants to hear, our beloved mother Rosario Lomeli has stage four Ovarian Cancer. After several months of complaining of stomach pains and visiting several doctors she finally received results from the mass they discovered, but not the results we had hoped for. We were hoping for a stomachache and or infection that could be cured with a prescription, but instead we were knocked down with the words “Stage four Ovarian Cancer.” Although the results was not what she wanted to hear she was up for the challenge and ready to fight for her life.

Thanks to great doctors and cancer specialists we found out that she would need surgery to remove the cancer, but unfortunately when prepped and in surgery the doctor discovered that her cancer had already spread so instead of surgery they wheeled her back and started her on aggressive chemo therapy. It has been a long and trying battle for her but she has done it with a smile and never complaining of “why me.”

After several rounds of chemo and fighting cancer for two years, her doctors have told us that she has exhausted all the chemo treatments available. She is now home in hospice care with family and loved ones.

While she does have insurance it does not cover all of the expenses. Your support, however small would be hugely appreciated.
