“The way my dad died today was really hard. He was fine one moment and gone the next. My sweet mother worked so hard to save him, and so did the paramedics. It was horrible. I’m really broken, I’m angry, I’m regretting all the time I didn’t spend with him and thankful for all the time I did. He had a heart for me, my mom, my siblings and our kids. He loved his family fiercely and he worked hard to make sure we all knew it. He worked extra hard to make sure we knew God loves us. He touched many hearts and left a legacy we will never forget. 

Marriage is hard and my parents were no stranger to that. But they worked tirelessly to show us what a loving marriage with two people working hard looked like. They never gave up and loved to the last moment and beyond. I’m so grateful for that model for my marriage. I miss you Dad. I wish you could stay. I wish I could hear your voice.

**Also my dad would want me to say that if you’re not saved, Jesus has a gift of everlasting life and love just for you. All you have to do is accept it. He has the victory over death!”
