My beloved... the time has come.
Hopefuly by tomorrow night, my go fund me page will be set up for all of you who want to help me reach my dream of not dying along in this bed.
After the hospital and the Puerto Rico government have suspended my care at home, told me there is nothing else they can do for me, and closed all the doors they still could offer, the time has come to make a painful decision.
To flee or to die here with absolutely no help from an administration who has the SWORN DUTY, THE MISSION, to never leave us abandoned to our luck in our most desperate times.
Times when we simply can not defend ourselves...
Absolutely devastating to me because I never believed they could be so selfish, so cold, so cruel...
I truly believed in my Veteran's Hospital and Administration. Any words to try to express the heartache they have caused me will fall way short...
But it is what it is my dear friends and family... My only hope to get to a home and a hospital with proper care and equipment for me, is in our hands. We are on our own. It's the sad truth.
I am going to set a high amount goal for the go fund me, because I need a special wheelchair and to travel in air ambulance to my final medical facility, and it is costly.
But please please please don't let that discourage you because every dollar counts. Really, anything that you can donate, even one or five dollars, will help tremendously.
Thank you very very much and hopefuly one day I will be able to see you guys again.
