Kim Gray’s medical expenses fund

Hi everyone.  I am setting up this fund to help raise money towards Kim's medical expenses.  While vacationing in Mexico to celebrate her 40th birthday, Kim suffered a 25 ft fall, resulting in multiple injuries, including:  Two skull fractures, brain swelling, fractures in her left ear which will require surgery to restore her hearing, scapula fracture, four fractured ribs, severe hematomas on both legs and limited mobility with her left leg.  Kim was hospitalized in Mexico and thankfully she has already been released. However, she requires someone to be with her at all times for safety and mobility as she’s unable to perform daily tasks. She is required to remain in Mexico for at least four weeks as flying sooner could cause irreversible brain and ear damage.  

Kim has had to pay her hospital bills and any continuing medical care in cash and will have weeks of expenses due to extended lodging requirements and ongoing medical care.  Once home, Kim will have to have surgery to repair fractures in her ear and hopefully restore her loss of hearing. Kim is a very tough and brave lady, but has a long road of recovery ahead of her and needs us to rally around her now, just as she would do the same for us.  

This is very difficult to ask for Kim, so we, as her friends, asked her to let us set up this account for her.  Kim is a single Mom to two amazing young ladies and the sole provider for her family. The girls are home and surrounded by lots of love and support, but bills will still have to be paid while Kim is away and she will be unable to work for an unknown amount of time. We know there are many friends and family who are asking how they can support Kim during this very challenging time and we're hoping this provides a platform where they can easily support her.
