Judy's Stem Cell Treatment for MS

Donation protected
Recognizing that God heals bodies through a variety of modalities, Steve and Judy Papenfuss are consulting a doctor who uses an innovative stem-cell approach to ending chronic conditions like Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

The Papenfusses and Judy's daughter, Zaynah, are excited to share some details and, hopefully, generate interest in Judy's stem-cell therapy, which is limited and regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

They're also honored that family, friends and members of their faith community may play a role in Judy's recovery from MS – a promise God gave her 15 years ago.

Generous to the core, Judy desires to help others suffering with disease, too.

Steve and Judy are encouraged by recent news that a Colorado-based doctor considers her a patient whose overall health – including symptoms of MS – will vastly improve with stem-cell therapy done in his Loveland practice

Mallory Family Practice Dr. Patrick Mallory has used stem cells in successfully reversing disease in other patients, and he's optimistic about effectively ending MS for Judy, who was diagnosed with it 30 years ago.

The costs associated with stem-cell therapy, however, aren't covered by the Papenfusses' medical insurance; nor do they have financial reserves to cover Judy's treatment, which may run upwards of $15,000 for removal, transfer, storage and use of stem cells, according to estimates from Dr. Mallory.

But still Steve and Judy have faith in God's promise to heal her from MS...with participation from the people who know and love Steve and Judy.

The goal of a GoFundMe campaign on Judy's behalf is $15,000, but she insists on helping others if donations exceed the cost of her own therapy.

Anybody who knows this active couple is keenly aware of their commitment to marriage, family, church and business. Certainly they're worthy of the needed financial support to pursue this disease-ending treatment.

Despite its unpredictable physical toll, MS doesn't thwart Judy's success as a wife, businesswoman or leader in the Papenfusses' church, Resurrection Fellowship.

She does admit to telling the Lord that he needs to fast-track her healing from MS.

Judy believes the Lord spoke a rhema word to her in 2002.

“I was at a conference asking the Lord, 'Are you going to heal me from MS?' “ she recalls.

“In a vision, I saw the Lord Jesus holding my hands as I was praying. I leaned forward to hear him say, 'I'm going to heal you in my time and for my glory.' “

“I know people see me in this wheelchair and wonder about me,” Judy says. “Imagine their response when I'm up and dancing or playing basketball.”

Stem-cell treatment for MS is emerging, and the Papenfusses believe it is for such a time as this.

Please consider giving prayerfully and financially to Judy's stem-cell therapy. Any amount beyond what's needed will go to other patients battling disease.
