This page is dedicated to the memorial fund for Walter L. Wynne & to help his wife rebuild after losing everything in a fire. Walt perished in a fire that completely destroyed the family home & business on Feb 16, 2013.

Walt leaves behind his beloved wife Cory who will be trying to rebuild her home, business & her life. Walt & Cory were dahlia hyberdizers, growers & sellers of dahlia tubers. They were the owners of Wynne's Dahlias. Their stock of dahlia tubers also perished in the fire. We are creating this memorial to carry on the Wynne's Dahlia legacy & rebuilding a home for Cory. We are also going to sponsor awards at dahlia shows in Walt's name for the Best Wyn's Dahlia in Show.
Walt was a great man who loved the outdoors, his wife, family & friends. Old school, hardworking, dedicated & helpful, he is deeply missed by his family & friends. The dahlia world also lost a great friend & contributor. Walt was one of a kind & a truly special husband, father, family member & friend.
