Hello, my name is Misty Cooper (Im in the pink shirt) and I would like to share with you a little bit about My sister in law Kristie's cancer journey. For those who dont know Kristie all that well she is about 5ft tall and maybe 105 pounds (soaking wet LOL) and one of the strongest girls I know... She beat cancer 20 years ago, She is a single mom who has raised an amazing young man, she has always worked hard to provide for her and her son.... She never asks for help cause she takes pride in doing it her self however Earlier this year her strength was tested because Kristie was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer. The doctor stated that she needed IMMEDIATE treatment of chemotherapy so within a few days she had a chemotherapy port placed under her colorbone and chemotherapy was started.... With a diagnoses like this most of us would freak out but not Kristie.... She said "let's do this" She put a smile on her face and is currently batteling the ultimate boogie man..... I have created this account because Kristie has been unable to return to work and her unemployment is getting ready to run out. I want her to continue fighting without having to worry about how she will pay her rent, how she will buy food, pay for her household bills or even her medication..... As a cancer survivor myself I know first hand how hard this journey can be and how expensive it can be..... Anything that can make her fight easier I am willing to help her with.....
