Lunenburg Public Skate Park

The Lunenburg School District trailed a new program back in 2018 called "Genius Hour". It enabled students to work independently on topics that interest them throughout the year - think of it as study hour with a purpose. This group of rising HS seniors honed in on a project that can benefit the entire community - they've taken on the challenge of coordinating the installation of a new wheeled enthusiast facility for the benefit of the Town of Lunenburg and the surrounding area. The boys have a vision for a facility that will provide a safe place for area youth where they can have fun, get some exercise, and ditch the computers and phones. They have been working to research other communities that have built similar parks and continue to meet with town organizations to further engage the community to provide support for the project.

Please join us in the fundraising effort financially! Your donation will fund design and final construction... and, most of all, will show support for this important town facility. Please partner with this talented group of kids and support our cause to build a skate park in Lunenburg!
