Ezra Kai Martin

Hey guys! My best friend, Kelli and her boyfriend, David just had their baby so I'm an auntie to a sweet baby boy, Ezra Kai! My heart is so full and I can't wait to meet him. Unfortunately baby Ezra was born 8 weeks and 3 days early weighing at 3 pounds and 13 ounces. Kelli was having bad contractions yesterday at about every 3 to 5 minutes for 2 hours so naturally she called her doctor and he told her to meet him at the hospital immediately. They ran some tests and everything came back fine, at first. About 30 minutes later his heart beat dropped almost instantaneously from 143 to 60. They put her completely under anesthesia and performed an emergency C-section. Ezra will stay in NICU for at least one month and Kelli will have to stay for about a week. She hasn't even been able to hold him yet! :(
With Kelli having baby Ezra at 32 weeks she will be missing two months of work, earlier than anticipated and also with Ezra having to stay in NICU, her and David will need tremendous help with medical bills and keeping Ezra healthy!
