En el rugby venezolano a lo largo de los años hubo un personaje que siempre estuvo presente, ese fue Mauricio Arévalo. Hoy rendimos homenaje a su legado y a su ejemplo de constancia y permanencia.
Como lo han reseñado jugadores de otros equipos, siempre será recordado como ese pilar "fastidioso y duro de vencer" dando ejemplo de que el rugby no tiene edad, y muchos mas adjetivos que caracterizaban la grandeza de su juego,
Un gran amigo y maestro para todos.
El "Torta" entre sus mas allegados, además de ser un increíble luchador tanto en la cancha como en el campo de batalla del alma, nunca doblego ni bajó los brazos y siempre estuvo ahí para todos nosotros.
Cualquier gesto que podamos hacer para preservar su legado no se compara con todo lo que el dió por familia, amigos y el deporte, sin embargo nos queremos asegurar de que no importa donde esté pueda estar tranquilo de que Daniel y Valeria terminen sus estudios como el así lo quería.
Es por esto que abrimos esta campaña para recolectar fondos que serán designados a la educación de Daniel y Valeria, esperando que todos aporten y nos ayuden a lograr que los Arévalo puedan seguir el camino que con tanto trabajo y corazón construyó Mauricio.

To whom who did not have a chance to meet Mauricio he was that character who was involved at all levels in the rugby scene in Venezuela, known to adversaries as the "finicky and hard to beat" prop he always led by example showing that rugby bears no age, characterized in the greatness of his game.
A great friend and teacher for all.
The "cake" among his closest friends, besides being an amazing fighter both on the pitch and in life, never gave up and he was always there for us all.
Any gesture we can do to preserve his legacy does not compare to all that strive to achieve for his family, friends and the sport we all love, however we want us to ensure that no matter where he is, he can be sure that Daniel and Valeria complete their studies as he would’ve wanted.
That’s why we opened this campaign to collect funds to be appointed to the education of Daniel and Valeria, waiting for everyone to contribute and help us achieve that the Arevalos can follow the path that with so much work and love Mauricio started paving.
