HELP FUND KARLS CANCER BATTLE

This summer Karl was unexpectedly diagnosed with advanced Squames cell carcinoma. Most of us know Karl as a very likable, caring and giving person. He is married for 31 years has 5 children and 9 grandchildren. Two of his sons were in the military overseas, and his youngest son is a corrections officer like Karl. Karls children all have the same values and they all look to protect others and have the same dedication to service.
Karl will be undergoing a number of surgeries, along with radiation and chemotherapy at the University of Pennsylvania hospital. As you can imagine, the diagnois, medications, surgical procedures, treatments and travel have become overwhelming and intimidating. Karl has medical insurance, however he will incur out of pocket expenses with co-pays, deductibles and prescription costs. In addition, since all procedures will take place in Philadelphia, there will be pre and post -operative travel expenses as well. This page is being set up so Karl can concentrate solely on healing, without the burden of a large financial obligation as well.
