Help the Kellys Have a Mold Free House!

The Kelly Family .. Rob, Bri, Kaden (10), Tanner, (8), Maddox (5), and Harper (2) ... live in Hampstead, North Carolina.  In February 2012, the family discovered they had high levels of mold - to include toxic black mold - throughout their entire house.  After professional testing, they moved out into a temporary space and started a journey to rid their house of mold.  There is mold testing, remediation, more mold testing, doctor appointments ... and then rebuilding ... and refurnishing of the house as many household items (couches, mattresses, pillows, blankets, etc) had to be thrown away.  

This journey is going to take several months and cost around $75,000 to $100,000.  Nothing is covered by insurance and all of this was on top of an already busy 2012 that brought an ovarian cancer diagnosis, a job loss, and the adoption of sweet baby girl Harper. 

The Kellys have had to take out loans and turn to their family and their faith for help.  This purpose of this site is to share their journey with you, to heighten the awareness of mold in the home, and to provide them with help, support, and encouragement.
