Thank you for taking the time to look at my Go Fund Me page. I have set this page up because my brother in law Bryn Archbold has recently been diagnosed terminally ill with "Aggressive mediastinal grey zone lymphoma". As you can imagine this news is devastating to Bryns family, friends and anyone who has had the pleasure or luck of meeting him.
Bryn has given so much in his life and joined the royal engineers when he was 16 years old and served 8 years in the army fighting for our country. He then chose to move back home to Wales to live a normal family life, this was when his symptoms started, which then lead to his diagnosis.
He has a loving wife and 2 young children with whom he had planned many things for their lives together. With Bryns diagnosis he may not get the chance to do all that he had planned and the cost of amazing chances in life also plays a big part in what they are able to do. So i would like to give him as much chance as possible and that is why i am kindly asking for any donations that would help towards a trip or lifetime experience for Bryn and his family to fill their days together with happiness and joy.
Bryn got diagnosed with Lymphoma 2 years ago. His diagnosis was given 3 weeks before his second son was born. This news was such a shock to everyone, Bryn has always been fit and healthy but with the cancer this slowly changed. After 8 months of treatment he was cancer free and slowly getting back in to a normal working life. Just before his sons 1st birthday September 2015 Bryn relapsed and the cancer was back. He has been through countless chemotherapy treatments with no improvement, which is how we have now got to the point of him being terminally ill. It has been so hard for Bryn and his family to stay positive after always having bad news, but Bryn has always stayed strong and happy no matter what.
Over the next few months Bryn will be undergoing radiation therapy to help keep the tumour at bay and to give him some decent months of hopefully feeling well.
Anyone that has met Bryn would know he is one of the funniest, caring, loving and inspirational men you have ever met, he looks at the world in a completely different way and has still kept a smile on his face through the hard times of the past 2 years since he got diagnosed.
He is a breath of fresh air and can light up any room. He takes time to listen to you with your day to day dramas no matter how pointless they are.
This guy deserves the absolute world and i am so honoured to call him my brother in law and to have been a part of his life for what seems like forever.
Bryn has 2 young boys who are 5 and 2. They absolutely adore there dad and he wouldn't be the man he is without them. They look up to him like a hero and that's exactly what he is.
Bryn would do anything for anyone no matter the effort so i ask you please help me to give back to Bryn and fill his life with amazing things he can share with his beautiful wife and gorgeous boys.
