Hi! As many of you already know our son Andrew has been slotted for placement in a Bergen Passaic Arc Group Home. We anticipate this placement to occur sometime in the fall of 2016. We feel very fortunate that he has this opportunity and look forward to Andrew taking this next step in life.
Andrew will be living about a mile away from our home in Wayne in a beautiful home all provided by Arc. He will live there with two of his peers and will be very well taken care of with the support services that Arc provides.
Unfortunately, Arc only gets so much money from the state of NJ to provide homes for the developmentally disabled. In order to make up for the difference they do this annual fundraiser.
We feel incredibly blessed that Andrew will be part of the Arc family and are asking our friends and family to support him in this journey.
