This fund was created in the memory of Pam Groh-Phelps. Pam had Multiple Sclerosis and was on a medical regime that rendered her immunocompromised and more susceptible to infections. On February 26, 2013 Pam passed away at the age of 48 as a result of septic shock. Septic shock is an overwhelming infection that leads to life threatening low blood pressure and ultimately organ failure.

Pam was the mother to 3 beautiful children: Lucas (19), Madison (10), and Nicole (9). Pam battled multiple sclerosis for many years and it took it's toll on her physically. Each exaccerbation of the disease left her with new physical challenges. She ultimately required help with most of her regular daily activities and she was left unable to walk without assistance needing to use a power wheelchair as her means of getting around. Her husband Keith was her dedicated care taker as well as holding a job and caring for the kids. The family has struggled financially and received help in the way of housing assistance because Pam had MS and was unable to work. The family will no longer receive this assistance and now has to face the additional financial burden that surrounds the death of a loved one.
