Hi, we are Clarice and Penny, and this is our story… Please take a minute to read it… and support us !
January 2016 marked the exciting launch of V.I.Paws Paris, a canine clothing company, producing sustainable, high quality and comfortable coats for dogs. V.I.Paws Paris was inspired by Penny, my rescued dachsund, when I couldn’t find any cute, comfortable, and practical clothes in shops which would suit her body and her strong personnality.
My initial investment of 5000€ has been monumental in giving the company its initial push. The goal to bring sustainable clothes for our canine friends to the market whilst providing jobs through community outreach cannot, however, be realized without your help. Hoping to launch my first collection in Winter 2016, there is still much to be done in the way of the material acquisition, production, and marketing costs. By exploring myriad recycling alternatives, V.I.Paws Paris is clothing for canines re-imagined. The company aims to make your dog stay warm -and look good doing it!- and all with hopes of leaving you feeling good in supporting this entrepreneurship.
V.I.Paws Paris is ethically motivated to help provide jobs for the many disenfranchised individuals that struggle to maintain full-time positions due to unforeseen circumstances. We hope that in providing training for our employees, people that may otherwise not have had the the opportunity to receive schooling or training, are able to learn applicable job skills with V.I. Paws Paris and earn an honest living.
Finally, a percentage of all V.I.Paws Paris sales will be allocated to animal charities and shelters.
The goal is for V.I.Paws Paris to become one of France’s leading canine clothing manufacturers. As the founder of V.I.Paws Paris, I confidently stand behind my concept and have been humbled by the support of various French groomers and canine retailers. Meanwhile, international interest has already taken flight as orders have begun to come in from the U.K. and the U.S. Excited to expand product selection, and eager for her team to grow, V.I.Paws Paris is asking for your help! !!

En Janvier 2016, j’ai créé e mon entreprise spécialisée dans les vêtements canins, V.I.Paws Paris. V.I.Paws Paris créé et produit des vêtements éthiques, confortables et de qualité supérieure pour chiens. J’ai été inspirée par mon teckel, Penny, pour laquelle je ne trouvais en magasin aucun habit la protégeant du froid et de la pluie, alliant style, confort et praticité.
Mais V.I.Paws, c’est aussi une éthique forte et altruiste, un sens de la communauté important. Les vêtements V.I.Paws seront made in France, réalisés dans des ateliers de confection employant des personnes en situation de réinsertion.
Une partie des bénéfices sera également reversée à des associations de protection animale et à des refuges.
Mon investissement initial de 5000€ a pu lancer l’entreprise. Le but de produire des vêtements éthiques tout en privilégiant des producteurs français et en créant du travail pour des personnes en situation de réinsertion est un projet ambitieux, mais réalisable. J’espère lancer ma première collection à l’hiver 2016, mais pour ça, j’ai besoin de vous ! Votre aide financière m’aidera à payer les fournisseurs textiles, l’atelier de confection solidaire, le transport, les emballages, et une modéliste.
V.I.Paws a tout pour devenir l’un des leaders du vêtement canin en France. En tant que créatrice du concept et des modèles, je crois au potentiel de mon projet. Et je ne suis pas la seule : toiletteurs et animaleries m’ont offert leur soutien sous la forme de futurs partenariats. De plus, j’ai déjà des commandes de sites spécialisés américains et britanniques !
J’apprécie le soutien de toutes les personnes qui croient en moi, et je tiens à vous remercier en avance pour les dons. Penny et moi voulons également remercier les personnes qui ne peuvent pas nous aider financièrement, mais peuvent partager notre projet à leurs amis, collègues, ou tout autre amoureux des animaux !
