KIRSTY'S BIRD SANCTUARY & WILDLIFE REHABILITATION.. The last 7yrs we have been on an amazing yet often wacky journey building an creating our own sanctuary. Now registered as a non-profit we are growing in leaps an bounds..
With never ending animal rescues and our ever growing animal family we have been 100% funding out of our own pockets with no financial help. We are the first to go without and to put all the animals first. It has been an extremely tough ride but one I would never think twice about.
In December 3 years ago we finally achieved our biggest goal, purchasing a rural property for the animals and birds that needed a loving, caring and stable home.
We takes in animals and birds with disabilities, behaviour issues, orphans and simply animals that no one wants to love. To continue doing this an expanding, building enclosures, shelters and bird flights with money tight we need your help.
Not only do we create a loving an stable environment for domestic bird species but we are also fulltime wildlife carers. This includes travel, fuel, a lot of feeding and often lifesaving supplies. I love my life and I couldn’t imagine a better way to live then giving back and donating everything i have whether it be mentally.. physically or emotionally to help animals in need, Whether that be vet expense’s in the thousands, to food an a full tummy.. to warmth and a comfy bed to feel safe.
Many people will be thinking why donate to this cause? what makes them different? an its simple we don't adopt out. We create a stable loving FOREVER family environment where these intelligent creatures get to live out their lives in the safety of our home. Theres no age limit of medical requirement to be with us and we are NOT about making a profit but all about the wellbeing of our animals.

- Mcgarret (a cockatoo) with 7 previous homes and an old broken wing injury.
That’s just a very few who now have found a home with our warm caring family.
Life is short and to change that an give hope to an animal to create a bright future which once seemed doomed is well worth the sleepless nights, being on call 24/7 and the heart ache of loss all of which we endure and i would never change. So please help us help many more of them.

Any funds will be used to purchase so many items some of which include: feed which we currently get over 300kg a fortnight. Mesh products for fencing and also snake proofing, Vet bills, shelters, medicines an supplements, heat mats an thermostats. Incubators and brooders. Milk supplements for orphaned wildlife, etc. All Donations will be very well used and we will be notifying our donators of purchases via regular updates... on behalf of myself and all the animals we would like to thankyou sincerely for your help and generosity.
