In need of help getting our heatpump repaired.

Update: Home insurance won't cover it. They said it is fixable, but we would have to hire a company to do it and should not be charged anymore than $2,400-$2,500. That is cheaper than having the whole unit replaced, but we still don't have that.

Hello, our heatpump went out on Thursday, January 7th. We just bought the house 3 months ago, and was told the old owner had replaced the heatpump in 2019, but upon inspection the guy from Starnes told us it is actually a 2008 model. We are hoping the home owners insurance will cover it once they come out and investigate, but our deductible is $1,000. Unfortunately we were not approved for financing. Please help us if you can. ❤
