Phantom Medical Costs for Carcinoma
Donation protected
My Phantom is a beautiful tortie point Siamese that I rescued from my job , along with her kittens back in 2014. She was semi feral and she hid most of the time . She’s a super calm sweet mama cat and all the others are extremely bonded to her . A few months ago I noticed she had a small scab on her face . I didn’t think anything of it , I took her to Emerald Hills animal hospital to be seen . We thought it was an allergy or just a rash and because of the other cats constantly grooming her i thought it wasn’t healing because of the scratching . Antibiotics were given , it healed but then a few months later came right back . It was nothing and turned into something nasty very quickly .
Today on 1/9/2021 Phantom was seen at a Emerald Hills again . She had a temperature and was dehydrated. She was given antibiotics, fluids and her wound was cleaned . The vet said the bacteria is coming from the ears and it’s very possible this could be Squamous Cell Carcinoma which is a type of skin cancer .
Just a few months ago I had to raise funds and ultimately make the decision to say goodbye to Dottie , one of my colony cats , who ended up with bone cancer and a nasty tumor in the ear canal and on the right side of her face . That was devastating to me but here I am again.
As of right now the vet suggested bloodwork , fluids and antibiotics. This is what I paid for today but this is just the beginning .
I’m feeling hopeful for Phantom . She’s wearing a cone so that the wound can heal and the others won’t lick it. She’s already a bit more energetic. She came home and the first thing she did was eat .
Please help me share my fundraiser for her so I can get her the care she needs .
Thank you guys
