Help Me Help A Friend ❤️

I know it seems hard,
but Please Stop Smoking
however you can

Hello friends. Most of you already know what all I’ve been through with my leg/my position health wise so I won’t repeat all of that. I’ve been hanging in there, but remember my old friend Mike, whom I’ve shared in the past that was diagnosed with stage IV Cancer last April? Well, I thought he was doing better. I went to visit him on the 2nd and saw that he was not doing well at all and learned he now has a collapsed Carotid artery that will be repaired, two lymph nodes and voice box removed at VCU, end of next week. That night after our visit, I don’t know if it was me being the cancer that I am, God, or him reminding me of my daddy, maybe all three, but I could not sleep and knew I would never again unless I not only prayed for him but actually physically did something to help him. So that being said, I packed up his things and brought him to my house for now so he wouldn’t be alone and I could make sure he was getting the nourishment he needs. All week I’ve juiced and blended every fresh vegetable you can think of.. All the greens, bone broth, etc, Puréed kale, cabbage, broccoli etc and though not being able to eat is bad, I’ve told him it’s actually a blessing, that can get so much more, nutrients etc into his feeding tube that most people fighting this cannot because of taste/appetite. And guess what? He’s already four lbs heavier than the day that he came! I believe the Lord works in mysterious ways. And I may have my own stuff going on but I feel it’s nothing in comparison to his. I know also that by helping him, it’s helping me to have reason to keep moving and push forward everyday. All of this said, he doesn’t get much assistance financially. What they give for food wouldn’t cover a healthy person’s food for a week, much less someone ill for a month. And he doesn’t need canned green beans (2 for $1) What he needs is Fresh, (preferably organic) fruits and vegetables, supplements etc. to help him fight this beast...and they are costly. Not only the food, but the everyday care that he needs, medical supplies that Medicaid doesn’t cover, staple goods etc and anything else that may arise, is more than he, or I can afford by myself. I’m not in a position to do what I want to do on my own, but it’s weighing on my heart to try and help him the best way I know how. So I’m asking that if any of you can help me help him, it would be greatly appreciated. And for those who have been helping so far, God love you and thank you for it ❤️
